Well-known and easy going, yet, very professional and accomplished Henrik Hästö picked the best of teams and established this firm in 2006 together with Niclas Salingre, Mirko Pennanen and Katri Lustig. They knew their clients and their demands, the legal market and how they themselves wanted to operate. This knowledge had been obtained during several decades.

Business grew steadily and the need for additional team members became evident.

A crucial turning point for the young but already very experienced firm was when Markus Engberg, a former partner of one of the top-three business law firms in Finland, decided to join the firm. His mergers and acquisitions expertise was vast and covered multiple parts from different jurisdictions. In addition, his knowledge on how to build a successful law firm was also very much appreciated.

Quite quickly it also became apparent that the company needed to strengthen its Dispute Resolution team. No sooner said than done, the firm recruited Mats Welin to be in charge of this team. His experience covered a membership of multiple years in the Dispute Resolution steering group of another top-three business law firm in Finland and, on top of that, he had acted as partner in a Dispute Resolution boutique law firm in Helsinki.

Year by year our firm has moved forward and made great additional recruitments. Unique and talented lawyers, such as Karoliina Konttinen, Saara Väätäinen, Annastiina Latvanen and Kirsikka Lukkarinen have joined the firm in recent years. The back office is professionally run by Sanna Nummi. Her responsibilities are everyday administration as well as the wellbeing of the team.

With this team we now have three strong teams: Corporate Advisory, Dispute Resolution and mergers and acquisitions. Our professionals in these teams enable us to provide the best of business law advice for our clients.

The team spirit of the firm is easily recognizable and we believe that with our crew we can take our clients around the Cape of Good Hope or Cape Horn, if needed!
