Mats Welin’s areas of expertise are Dispute Resolution, Commercial Agreements and Corporate Law. He has been the legal adviser of several Nordic and European Groups of Companies concerning business in Finland. Media, Logistics, Food Industry and Business-to Business sales of goods and services are amongst Mats’ fields of practice.

The dispute resolution work of Mats comprises litigation, arbitration, mediation and criminal litigation in major white collar crime cases. The Finnish Bar, The District Court of Helsinki, The Central Chamber of Commerce and colleagues have appointed Mats to act as arbitrator in numerous arbitration cases. According to Mats, the extensive litigation he has practiced over the years has given him in depth knowledge on many general business law risks and issues, which further enables him to offer a lot of experience and many perspectives in his legal advice.
